These terms apply to the AmeriTax & Accounting website, payroll estimator, and AmeriTax Scheduling service. By using these features, you agree to use them in accordance with these terms.
Website information and professional services
Website content provides general information. It is not individualized tax, accounting, financial, or legal advice. Contact us about your circumstances before acting on it. Visiting the site, using the estimator, or booking a consultation does not by itself engage AmeriTax to prepare a return, run payroll, meet a filing deadline, or perform other professional work. The scope, fees, and responsibilities for paid services are agreed separately.
Free consultations
New-client consultations are free 30-minute appointments for personal tax, business tax, rental property tax, bookkeeping, or payroll. A consultation is separate from paid tax preparation or other professional services. In-person consultations are offered Monday through Thursday, 10 AM–noon and 1–3 PM; Zoom consultations are offered Friday, 11 AM–4 PM. All times are Pacific and subject to availability.
Tax preparation appointments
Tax preparation appointments are booked separately from free consultations. Individual appointments last 45 minutes for current clients and 1 hour for new clients. Business and rental property appointments last 2 hours for current and new clients. Both in-person and Zoom formats are available during the hours listed above. Tax preparation fees are agreed separately.
Bookings require at least 24 hours’ notice and may be made up to 90 days ahead. We reserve a 15-minute buffer between appointments. An appointment is confirmed when the scheduler displays confirmation. If an error appears or you do not receive a confirmation email, email Stacey to check before trying again.
Provide accurate contact information and only book for yourself or someone you are authorized to represent. By submitting a booking, you request appointment confirmations and reminders at the address provided. Confirmation emails include an optional calendar attachment; no RSVP is required. Zoom links are sent separately. To cancel or reschedule, reply to your confirmation email or email Stacey. Stacey will confirm the change by email. Please contact us if you need help joining your meeting.
Payroll estimates
The payroll cost estimator provides an illustration based on your selections and the rates displayed. It is not a binding quote or service agreement. Final pricing and included services depend on your business’s needs and the agreement reached with AmeriTax.
Responsible use and sensitive documents
Do not submit false bookings, interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or use it unlawfully. Send sensitive tax and financial documents through your AmeriTax connection in Verifyle, not through booking fields or ordinary email. Email Stacey if you need a Verifyle invitation.
Other services and availability
Google Calendar, Zoom, Verifyle, and other linked services have their own terms and privacy policies. Website features may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. Contact the office when you need confirmation of pricing, an appointment, or a deadline. A website interruption does not extend a tax or payroll deadline.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy describes how website and scheduling information is handled. We may update these terms as services change; the current version and update date will appear here. These website terms do not replace a separate signed engagement agreement or limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
